About On-Call Emergency Service

Please fully read the directions below before scheduling an emergency visit.

Local Veterinarians can only be reached by going through our VetTriage service.

If you are experiencing a veterinary emergency outside of business hours, a local on-call veterinarian is available during the following times:

Monday – Friday: 6:00am-8:00am, 5:00pm-10:00pm

Saturday & Sunday: 6:00am-10:00pm

The on-call veterinarian will arrange to meet you at the clinic where they are on-call. After-hours care is shared with other veterinary clinics in the Brainerd lakes area.

VetTriage & 24 Hour Emergency Hospitals

VetTriage is going to be your first contact when your pet is having an emergency outside of regular business hours.

VetTriage can be accessed using the button below on a smartphone, tablet or computer.

The VetTriage veterinarians are available 24/7 to assess emergencies via a live video chat for a $50 fee. The video chat will help determine if your pet can be monitored at home until we reopen or if your pet requires emergency medical attention. The VetTriage veterinarian will either give you care advice for monitoring at home or direct you to the appropriate clinic or hospital.

If you do not have internet access, you may call 1-800-940-1921 to reach them by phone.
